New Found Glory: Pop Punk Day at The Piazza.

If there was any doubt that New Found Glory couldn’t rock out like they used to, they put those doubts to shame on Saturday during their outdoor performance at the Piazza at Schmidt’s. The pop punk veterans acted as if they were still young kids, dancing around the stage and stirring up the crowd.

The hundreds of people packed into the Northern Liberties piazza moshed and crowd-surfed during the entire set. There were some bloody noses and scrapped up faces.

One interesting tidbit, New Found Glory frontman Jordan Pundik talked about how some of their fans in foreign lands, such as in South America, found out about their music through the Internet and illegal downloads. And he didn’t seem to mind.

Philly’s own Rivers Monroe (below) and fun (bottom image) opened the show, which was sponsored by Radio 104.5.
