This week, we hung out with the kids from GANG, who will be featured in the summer issue of JUMP. That issue will hit the street on June 3. (Photo by Brandee Nichols).

That was just part of our awesome few weeks in Philly music. In case you missed it, here are some of the highlights:

We talked about the art of DJing with Mayor Michael Nutter, a former DJ who performed as Mix Master Mike.

We helped debut the new song and video by Hezekiah Jones.

Our friend Kurt Hunte, one-fifth of Plastic Little, launched the most awesome TV show for children ever.

We reviewed the Daryl Hall show at Temple University.

We met Chubby Checker’s son. And the dude is FUNKY.

We hung out with the talented kids from June Divided.

We watched the guys from City Rain rip off their shirts and jump in the air, gear in hand.

JUMP fan Tim Becker got up close and personal with Diplo.

Our Colin Kerrigan talked tweets with ?uestlove.
