East Hundred: EP Release Saturday @ Johnny Brenda’s.
New music has been on the horizon for Fishtown five-piece East Hundred for some time now.
Since 2009’s Passenger, the band’s first full-length release, they’ve done tons of writing and have brought new creations to life on stages all around town.
One of the most memorable of these fresh cuts is “So Strange,” a vivacious gem that highlights vocalist Beril Guceri’s vibrant range over plush guitar and bass melodies. It’ll be the lead track from The Spells, a long-awaited, five-song EP, funded and recorded through a campaign on Kickstarter.com.
The band celebrates the release of the record Saturday night at Johnny Brenda’s with Turning violet Violet, Steve Goldberg and The Arch Enemies. Your $10 admission gains you a digital download of The Spells.
For now, listen to “So Strange.”
