“Can you shut the fuck up?! Shut the fuck up!” Conor Oberst, lead singer of the Desaparecidos, screamed at the crowd on Saturday night at Union Transfer.

On stage, a “Free Bradley” banner hung over a guitar amp. Bradley Manning, a United States Army soldier, is awaiting prosecution for allegedly leaking top secret military information to Wikileaks.

The band is loud and political in nature and their show was no different – totally in your face. Desaparecidos served it up on a platter before a sold-out crowd.
