WIN FREE TICKETS: The Orwells at The North Star Bar Saturday.

The Orwells are a band of teenagers who have been gaining a world of buzz and for good reason. Their raw, emotional, heart-pounding garage rock sound reeks of ennui. Lead singer Mario Cuomo’s gruff voice sounds like he’s lived a world of pain – and he has, sort of. Last fall, he was busted with guns and drugs.

They’ll perform at the North Star on Saturday with The Kingston Springs and The Districts, the roots rockers from nearby Lititz. It’s an all-ages show (naturally) and we’re giving away tickets.
